Christmas Dining

If you don’t fancy trying to concoct a home made Christmas dinner for your flat mates we’ve found a few places you might like to try for a charcoal/mush free festive feast…
The Bell Inn (just off the Old Market Square)
From 20th November through to Thursday 14th December the Bell Inn offers a Christmas Fayre Menu of 4 courses for just £10.50. Recently voted Nottingham ‘Pub of the Year’ 2006 and one of the oldest pubs in Nottingham, we’d recommend the Bell Inn for a traditional, cosy pub lunch. Make sure you call to reserve a table and as for most Christmas lunches you’ll need to fill out a booking form for larger parties.

The Orange Tree (Shakespeare Street)
For a real student friendly Christmas meal out we recommend the Orange Tree near Trent Uni in town. 2 or 3 course Christmas lunches and dinners are on offer 7 days a week throughout December, not breaking the bank at only £16 for 3 courses.

Tales of Robin Hood Christmas Banquet (Maid Marian Way)
If you haven’t rinsed too much of your loan already this year, why not try the Tales of Robin Hood for a five course Christmas feast, Christmas crackers, medieval entertainment and limitless alcohol. Prices range from £40 at the start of the week, to £55 on a Sunday.

May ye have a very merry Christmas!
