Police Appeal For Missing Nottingham Student

Gloucestershire police have appealed for help in an attempt to find University of Nottingham student George Ford.

Ford, 20, went missing from his home in Slad Road, Stroud, at 3am on Sunday 16th December.

He was last seen at around 5am that same morning.

A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Constabulary, Simon Masters, stated that there is a chance he could be in Nottingham. While it is not thought that he has access to a car, he can drive.

At the time he went missing, he was wearing a green ‘Hitchhike Morocco’  t-shirt, grey combat trousers, a brown satchel and black and blue DC trainers.

Police have asked anyone who has seen him to call them on 101, quoting incident 175 of December 16.

Update- 28th December

Last week (20th December), police found a body in the River Frome, in Stroud. The body has yet to be formally identified.

Police are still asking for anyone with any information to get in touch, on 101, quoting incident number 315 of December 18.
