After each weekly Arts meeting the Arts Team will be compiling a list of their top Arts events of the past week and what to look out for over the next week!

Hot Arts News:

Rufus Norris appointed National Theatre’s new Artistic Director. He joins the likes of Laurence Olivier, Richard Eyre and Trevor Nunn. Norris expressed his wish to focus on the South Bank theatre’s ‘representations of the community in which we live’.

Man Booker Prize Winner Announced: Youngest Author to date! Eleanor Catton’s second novel ‘The Lumminaries’ (832 pages long) was awarded the prize on October 15th. She wins £50,000 prize money.

Fringe Season Announced by Nottingham New Theatre: these five include four pieces of new writing.
