Impact Comment is looking for columnists

Want your opinions read by thousands of students? Interested in having your writing published? Perhaps you want to make a name for yourself on campus?

Impact Magazine is looking for columnists to comment on current affairs, politics and student issues. Whether you want to offer your take on the on-goings of Number 10 or Hallward Library, Westminster or Lenton, we’d like pieces that are interesting, funny, thought-provoking and full of personality. Columnists will have the chance to publish their thoughts and opinions online and in the print edition of the magazine.

Successful applicants will be required to submit a fortnightly column of 300-350 words. Two outstanding columns will be published in print per month, with all others being published online.

If you are interested in this opportunity please email with your name, year, degree course and 50 word summary of your first column.

Deadline for applications is Monday 15th July. Good luck.

In the meantime, check out Impact Comment on Facebook and Twitter.
