This week’s Spotifriday comes from the fiery depths of Matt’s pop-punk knowledge. He believes that music should make you feel something profound; it should make you want to scream at the top of your lungs, laugh yourself to tears, or take on the world. Not forgetting everything in between, of course.
The playlist is a selection of Matt’s favourite songs, beginning with Bowling For Soup, who don’t take themselves too seriously, so nor should you. The Story So Far, the most underrated pop-punk band around at the moment, are included, as are Dave Grohl’s Foo Fighters. Rise Against‘s ‘Saviour’ is the perfect motivational song, while this Black Stone Cherry track is a celebration of all that is manly. Red Hot Chili Peppers round things off with a song that is the embodiment of California. Enjoy!
