WINNER ANNOUNCED: POSTGRADUATE OFFICER – Matt Bramley

Matt Bramley has been announced as the new Postgraduate Officer.

5,179 students voted for this position and four candidates ran. After one round of voting, Matt received 2,723 votes, beating Rajesh who received 1,354 votes in the only round of counting.

Matt told Impact that he was feeling “overwhelmed, relieved” as he “worked really hard”.

His favourite part of the campaign trail was having the “chance to speak to so many people – both undergraduate and postgraduate students”.

He added: “All of the candidates are fantastic!”

“I’m also looking forward to putting my stamp on the postgraduate experience!”

“I’m most looking forward to building upon Elliott’s good work and making the social scene for postgraduate better”, Matt shared.

When asked how he plans to celebrate, Matt said: “I have coursework due on Monday – I’ll be chasing that up pretty quick”.
