A body was discovered in the Highfields Lake on University Park on Tuesday 4th November.
Officers were called to the area at around 12.15pm and found a man believed to be in his 30s.
Police have said that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Update 5/11/2014: Nottinghamshire Police confirmed to Impact that they were investigating the circumstances of the ‘sudden death’ of the man. They also said they do not believe the man was a student at the university.
A file is being prepared for the Coroner.
