BREAKING NEWS: Student in Willoughby Hall passed away on Tuesday

A press release from the University of Nottingham has confirmed that a nineteen year old student died on Tuesday. He collapsed at his hall of residence, Willoughby Hall, and was taken to hospital, but sadly died.

The report stated that the police are not treating the death as suspicious, and specialist support has been made available to all students and staff members affected.

Impact has learned that a student residing in the on-campus accommodation Willoughby Hall has died from unconfirmed circumstances.

It is believed that the student was in his first year and studying Economics at the University of Nottingham.

The Hall Porter for Willoughby Hall confirmed to Impact that an individual had been taken to hospital by ambulance, but could not give any further information at the time of writing.

An email sent to all students in Willoughby Hall today has been seen by Impact, confirming the student had passed away. A student posted on Twitter, “RIP… so much to live for”.
