Lauren Heria has been announced as the new Sports Officer.
The total number of people that voted for this position was 7,624. After 6 rounds of voting, Lauren secured the position with 3, 309 votes.
Speaking to Impact, she felt as though she was “on the moon” as believed that she would not win.
She thanked her team that supported her “the whole way”. In order to celebrate the win she plans to go to Ocean. “That’s it”, she said.
Addressing the next year’s challenge she was optimistic that “sport is going to be massive next year”. To achieve this Lauren hopes to be able to implement his manifesto points as much as possible.
