A total of 4,438 universities were evaluated as part of the survey, with 1117 institutions making the ranking.

“We’re very proud of the breadth of subjects we offer at Nottingham”

Dr Paul Greatrix, registrar at The University of Nottingham, said: “We’re very proud of the breadth of subjects we offer at Nottingham. To be ranked so highly across this range is testament to our exceptional teaching standards and the level of quality we demand from both students and staff.

“Yet again Pharmacy & Pharmacology has placed in the top 10 which we are especially proud to see.”
