Nneka Keshi has been announced as the new BME Officer.
1285 students voted for this position.
Nneka told Impact, “I had a bit of doubt, naturally, but I am so happy”.
She continued, “I never understood the campaign effort, I’ve never been so tired! I’ve been to all the campuses”.
Nneka tells everyone who voted for her, “I am so thankful. Don’t worry – I’ll do you proud”.
Nneka’s manifesto states that she wants more support for the educational, personal and career issues for BME students. She also wants to host more cultural awareness events to raise awareness and celebrate diversity for BME students.
