Impact Style brings you another key trend for ss15: Khaki.
One colour that I certainly wasn’t expecting for spring was Khaki; it’s been on multiple runways this season, for example John Galliano, Marc Jacobs and Nicholas K, with each designer giving us different vibes.
My favourite way to wear khaki in the spring is pairing it with white or any bright colours: this gives it a fresh feel, making it perfect for this season. I’ve gone for a very basic look with some cute running shorts and white tee- I added the boots to dress it up slightly and give it that army feel. These shorts can be styled in a number of ways: you could go with a pair of converse and a denim jacket to give it more of a casual feel, but you could also dress them up with a crisp white button up shirt, a statement necklace and some heels to add a touch of glamour.
But it’s not just the designers that are loving the khaki, the high-street stores are getting in on it too, River Island have even labelled the trend ‘Urban Jungle’.
