At around 16:30 today there was a collision involving a ford fiesta and a hopper bus on the Beeston Road next to the junction with Greenfield Street approximately a hundred yards east of the University South Entrance.
Initial reports suggest that no one was hurt, a witness reported the occupants of the car walking around and no sign of injury, but a fair amount of debris strewn across the road. It is unclear what the exact cause of the accident was at this time. The city council has been informed of the incident and sending someone to clear up the debris. The police have not made a comment regarding the collision at this time.
