Amongst its many charms, Nottingham is a very active and sporty city, both for students and for locals. With the Robin Hood Marathon fast approaching us on Sunday 30th September, there is also the upcoming Nottingham MoRun. Fun runs are the perfect way to get fit and have fun, whilst doing something good for charity.
MoRunning have announced that they will be hosting 22 fun runs in different locations across the UK and Ireland throughout the month of ‘Movember’. The Nottingham MoRun is set to take place on 18th November, with the route running through Wollaton Park. This is a brilliant cause, raising awareness and money for men’s health issues.
The run is suited to any ability, for seasoned long distance runners to those who are trying it for the first time, there’s something for everyone! Runners can choose from a distance of 5k and 10k and enter as a solo runner or as a team, with plenty of time to get some training in before the day. Many runners don moustaches too in celebration of the cause. You can grab your early bird tickets here now until the end of September. So, what are you waiting for?
